I remember being 14 years old standing on the edge of the pit at The Fillmore in San Francisco. For me, their stories are legend, having heard and witnessed a lot of them. One of my best friends introduced me to them, and it would be the first time I would hear the style of music. Their social and political criticisms, ethical content, odd time signatures, and uniquely progressive writing style make them stand out as one of the only bands rooted in ska that continues to release music that is still considered relevant.
